Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading or using Gyral. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

Gyral is a word game developed and published by Gyral Digital. It is available on iOS via the Apple App Store and on Android via Google Play. These terms apply to both versions.

2. Licence to use

Gyral Digital grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Gyral app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

All intellectual property in the Gyral app — including but not limited to the game design, graphics, animations, sounds, and branding — is owned by Gyral Digital or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership over this content.

4. In-app purchases

The Gyral app is free to download and play. Optional in-app purchases may be available. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. Gyral Digital does not handle payment processing directly.

In-app purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple's/Google's own refund policies.

5. Game content and word lists

Gyral uses a curated dictionary of English words for gameplay. We do not guarantee that any specific word will or will not appear in the game. Word lists may be updated at any time. Gyral Digital is not responsible for any offence caused by words that appear in or are absent from the word list.

6. Availability and updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gyral Digital disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gyral Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK, US, or applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the United States, you may also have rights under the laws of your state of residence that cannot be overridden by this clause.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will provide notice of material changes through an in-app notification or update to the "Last updated" date above.
